When a video or photo “goes viral” it means it has gained a sudden amount of attention on the internet through email, facebook, and other forms of on-line sharing.
I saw a video this week that’s gone viral. Watch it and you’ll know why.
The video is breathtaking. I’m trying to imagine what it would’ve been like to be in that canoe. I love the part where you can literally hear one of the girls gasping. The look on their faces is priceless. You can see the awe at what they just experienced. I wonder if they laid in bed that night re-living it?
This is what I love about God and His creation. We are still uncovering and discovering new things all the time. You can read the scientific explanation about what those starlings were doing here:
Only recently have scientists been able to learn even just a little about the murmuration of the starlings. How much more is there in this creation that we have yet to discover and understand? I love that over time humanity has peeled away just a few layers of all there is to know about science and nature.
Creation speaks of who the Creator is. Creation and the Creator still hold many mysteries. It’s funny how we can easily put God into a box and subconsciously think that we know all there is to know of Him. I think He must just laugh sometimes. Not laugh at us, but chuckle knowing He will be revealing more and more revelation of who He is to us.
I wonder what things “go viral” in Heaven? Are there top news stories or videos of things that amuse or please God that suddenly get a lot of attention? I’m sure there are, and they’re probably of people or things we would least expect.
36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.
My prayer is the same as Paul’s in Ephesians 1:17: ” I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.”
Jesus, help us experience an increased awe and wonder as we discover more truth, wisdom, and knowledge of who you are. Amen.
