Emma and Owen got quite a ride this week. Greg likes to cross-country ski when the snow covers the sidewalks and roads in Bozeman, so he decided to ski Emma to preschool.
Of course he got the dog to help too. Why pull a sled when you have a 45lb Brittany spaniel that can do half of the work for you?
It’s a great picture. Two kids enjoying a sled ride knowing their Dad would get them safely to their destination.
It’s also good reminder to me that my heavenly Father is doing the same thing. I have every reason to trust that He will do all He has said He will do. Even though my human flesh often tries to argue with this truth. I see circumstances, He sees from beginning to end. I see lack, He sees abundance. I see sickness, He sees health and healing.
Matthew 6: 25- 27
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[e]?
Prayer: Lord help me to see your perspective more clearly. Help me to ride in the sled you are pulling, knowing that you are kind, loving, and good. You will fulfill your word.
